Maggie has some peculiar tastes, including tape-recording the most private intimacies between herself and her lovers. This indulgence soon causes consternation among the visitors, which include her neighbour Jenny and Jenny’s husband. This culminates in the death of Ann’s fiancé, Steve. A second horrific climax reveals that Maggie has been murdered. Ann, who was very much affected by a recent accident, is distraught when apparently threatened by Jenny; but in the last moments, following Jenny’s disappearance, a final twist proves the relevance of the paly’s title. Below is a list of characters and a brief description. Whist the age of the characters are taken from the script, the Director, Judy Kelly, has indicated that she does not need to stick rigidly to these ages and is more than happy to audition males and females from mid 20’s to late 40’s.
