Kusumsiri Liyanaarachchi
Kusumsiri is a graduate with an Honours Degree (2001) from University of Kelaniya in Sri Lanka, in Fine Arts and Aesthetic Studies. Kusumsiri has gained a vast knowledge in theatre by being involved in numerous theatre workshops. He was also awarded a scholarship to the National School of Drama, India in 2000.
Kusumsiri won national awards for his play "Sapathni" (1999) and Children's play "Okkomalla Kollakala" (1996), including Best Script Writer, Best Director and Best Production. He has also won national awards for Best Actor.In stage drama he has an impeccable record of being a popular actor under some of the most respected popular producers and directors of Sri Lanka.
