Full Details : The pie-flinging, pinstripe-wearing, pint-sized classic has finally made it to The Crete Street Theatre. The time is the 1920s, the place New York, and baby-faced Bugsy Malone, a killer with the ladies, is caught up in a gang war between rival mobsters Fat Sam and the dapper Dandy Dan. Unfortunately, Bugsy has also caught the eye of Sam's girlfriend Tallulah – though he's set his designs on the showgirl Blousey Brown…
This not to be missed gangster musical - just a bellyful of laughs and more than a passing risk of being caught in the sticky crossfire of randomly aimed splurge. When the action cuts fast and loose and startled clubbers sprint for cover, just take their lead and duck!
You'll love the setting and the style, from the art deco splendour of Fat Sam's right down to the flashy pin-stripes and two-toned brogues sported by Dandy Dan and his boys. And then there's that chorus line of high-stepping flappers who bring the house down nightly with their slick dance routines.
